Description

A little holiday magic on Bret Harte, all dressed up and ready for the most wonderful time of year! On one of the most coveted streets in the Palisades, mere steps from the lake, this vintage mountain charmer has been thoughtfully reimagined for its next chapter. Level parking for four vehicles, or two with room for a boat or RV, makes mountain living that much easier. With timeless cottage charm and fresh renovations throughout, this little piece of Lake Arrowhead is ready to make spirits bright! Soft woodland light filters through the windows, illuminating new wood floors and freshly painted interiors. The inviting open floor plan sets the stage for festive gatherings, while a nostalgic brick fireplace with insert is practically begging for stockings on the mantel and a cozy evening by the fire. The tastefully remodeled kitchen features all new appliances and opens to the living and dining areas, perfect for everything from holiday baking to a table full of family and friends. A spacious main level bedroom offers comfort and convenience, while a separate full guest bathroom and laundry complete the main floor. Upstairs, two wonderfully roomy bedrooms beneath the charming rooflines offer plenty of space for overnight guests, along with an impeccably remodeled three-quarter bath. Central air conditioning keeps things comfortable when the mountain days turn warm. Just off the living room, a large deck invites summer barbecues and morning coffee among the pines. When the air turns crisp, imagine twinkling lights overhead and cozy evenings surrounded by the quiet beauty of the woods. The side yard offers possibilities for a dog run or a cozy gathering spot for roasting marshmallows. A substantial storage area below has room for mountain gear and all those boxes of seasonal decorations. Stockings by the fireplace. The scent of pine in the mountain air. Summers spent at the lake. A vintage charmer with a fresh new beginning and a little magic for every season. Welcome home to The Cottage on Bret Harte.
